Buick Rendezvous

The Buick Rendezvous, introduced in the spring of 2001 as a 2002 model year vehicle, was a Mid-size luxury crossover SUV that was sold by the Buick division of General Motors for the 2002-2007 model years. As a four-door crossover with a front engine and four-wheel drive, the Rendezvous featured a four-speed automatic transmission with a V-6 engine. The SUV used the same platform as GM's short version minivan, Pontiac Montana, Buick Terraza, Chevrolet Venture, Chevrolet Uplander, and Saturn Relay. The Rendezvous (and Rainier) were replaced by a new crossover SUV, the Enclave, on the GM Lambda platform for 2008.
