The GMC Yukon XL is another version of the Chevrolet Suburban produced by General Motors. GMC also called it a Suburban until it rebranded it to the Yukon XL for the 2000 model year.
The 2007 model year Suburban and Yukon XL were unveiled at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show in January. For the 2014 model year, a convenience package will now become standard on its SLE models, along with a new color, Deep Indigo Metallic. GM discontinued the 2500 3/4 Ton versions of both Suburban and Yukon XL models after the 2013 model year.
The front fascias of the Chevy Suburban and GMC Yukon XL are distinct, but from the base of the A-pillars back, they share most of the same styling cues.
