The Jeep Cherokee (XJ) is a unibody compact SUV that was developed and produced by the Jeep division of American Motors, and continued to be built and marketed by Chrysler after 1987. It was discontinued after the 2001 model, but was reintroduced for the 2014 model year. Jeep Cherokee models do not have keyless entry remote fob smart keys that are onboard programmable and therefore require special equipment in order to program the keyless entry remote fob smart key.
