The Buick Rainier is a mid-size SUV from General Motors. Introduced for 2004 to replace the Oldsmobile Bravada, the Rainier is the first truck sold under the Buick marque since the 1920s. All model years of the Buick Rainier have keyless entry remote fob smart keys that are onboard programmable, which means a person can program the keyless entry remote fob smart key with no special equipment other than the keyless entry remote fob smart key programming instructions. The Rainier (and Rendezvous) were replaced by a new crossover SUV, the Enclave, on the GM Lambda platform for 2008.
