The Buick Skylark is a passenger car produced by the Buick division of General Motors. The model was made in six production runs. In each run, the car design varied dramatically due to changing technology and tastes, as well as new standards implemented over the years.
The model years are 1953–1954, 1961–1972, and 1975–1998. Some model years of the Buick Skylark have keyless entry remote fob smart keys that are onboard programmable, which means a person can program the keyless entry remote fob smart key with no special equipment other than the keyless entry remote fob smart key programming instructions. After the Skylark's discontinuation, Buick did not produce another compact car until the 2012 Buick Verano.
