The Scion xB is a compact car made by Toyota for the United States market and sold under their youth-oriented Scion brand. Some model years of the Scion xB have keyless entry remote fob smart keys that are onboard programmable, meaning a person can program the keyless entry remote fob smart key with no special equipment other than the keyless entry remote fob smart key programming instructions. Newer model years, however, are not on-board programmable and require special equipment in order to program the keyless entry remote fob smart key.
